  1. I liked your slide show. I felt like I was really there. If you had tried to describe it, I don’t think it would have been the same. This was the proper medium.

  2. I would have liked to been walked through the bargaining process. This is a big part of why this type of shopping is favored by some.

  3. Great blog. I can tell that you’re very dedicated. Great use of images and slideshows. It shows that you really get in there (like Anderson Cooper!)

Suggestions: Have a contest of some sort. And give the winner a vintage hat or vintage jewelry. Collaborate with a local vintage store to do this. And/Or do a comparative piece where you have pictures of pricey designer items and hold them up against similar looking items found in vintage stores for much less.

Profile suggestion: Find someone who used to buy clothes at the store price and converted to shopping in nothing but thrift or vintage stores.

  4. I agree with your post. Which is not something I will usually do! 🙂 I enjoy reading a post that will make one think. Also, thanks for allowing me to comment!

  5. I can’t believe some people still call that area Hell’s Kitchen, even though it’s so cleaned up.
